Opera Australia

Sydney is Australia’s global city. It is the home to Australia’s premiere performing arts company, Opera Australia, and is recognised worldwide by the sails of the Sydney Opera House and the span of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Breathtaking in its scale, Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour brings these elements together in a unique way and the event is now recognised as one of the world’s great outdoor events.

Innovation in the arts is combined with the construction industry to create a pop-up venue.

Audiences enjoy awe-inspiring views and taste New South Wales’ excellent food and wine at one of the five casual and premium dining areas, before being inspired by incredible productions.

Splashdown Event Services have been providing bespoke, award winning toilet facilities for our event since its inauguration in 2012.

Splashdown provide superior technical advice and support for our events and have worked with us over the years to improve our facilities to ensure patron experience is always exceptional; In fact, it is not unusual to overhear patrons raving about the fabulous toilets during the event.

The Splashdown team are flexible, responsive and understanding. The Splashdown team are always available to troubleshoot and resolve any issues which may arise on an event of such large scale.

We commend Splashdown on their environmental initiatives. Through implementation of vacuum flush toilets we are now using just 300 thousand litres of water as opposed to 1.5 million litres of water over our five week performance season.

We would like to thank Splashdown for their ongoing service on our events, and congratulate them on their proficiency and innovation.
